OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS
Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist is primarily responsible for conducting occupational therapy sessions for patients in accordance with directions provided by physiatrists / medical consultants on the specific field.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The position holder shall undertake the following functions:
- Undertakes observation and diagnostic testing, to supplement the Physiatrists’ initial evaluations in order to identify occupational therapy needs of the patients; Executes orders of the Physiatrist on the conduct of identified therapy session.
- Conducts occupational therapy sessions for patients within the clinic or on home-care basis on the following:
- splinting for stroke patients to prevent or correct deformity
- exercising the patient to restore normal mobility of extremities
- conducting counseling sessions to enhance psychological resolve towards rehabilitation
- providing guidelines and techniques to enable them to re-adjust to normal routines of everyday life; providing recommendation on the use of adaptive equipment to replace loss of function.
- providing therapeutic drills and exercises to restore normal function of speech, psycho-motor coordination, physiological functioning like swallowing.
- Maintains treatment area, equipment and inventory of supply and prepares requisition for requirements as stocks are depleted
- Undertakes work activities in conformity with the institutional guidelines on safety and infection control.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Having passed government licensure examination for the practice of the profession

Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist is primarily responsible for performing respiratory care treatments on patients in compliance of orders provided by medical consultants.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts disinfection of all machines and equipment before and after use in respiratory procedures.
Validates doctors’ orders as contained in charts and as relayed by nurses on the exact specifications about required procedures and required medication.
Performs respiratory care treatments and procedures consisting of the following:
- Gas Therapy
- Aerosol Therapy
- Airway Management
- Pulmonary Function Test Study
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Arterial Blood Gas Analysis
- Mechanical Ventilation
Qualifications:
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Having passed government licensure examination for the practice of the profession
CLINICAL PHARMACISTS (RPh)
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist is primarily responsible for undertaking comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to wards and medical departments as required and as directed by medical consultants.
Qualifications:
- Holder of a degree course in the field of Pharmacy Completion of formal specialized training in clinical pharmacy
- Having passed government licensure examination for the practice of the profession.
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS (RRT)
Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist is primarily responsible for the provision of technical assistance to medical practitioners on the conduct of prescribed radiologic examination of patients.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The position holder shall undertake the following functions:
- Validates doctors’ instructions on the type of examination to be done; sets schedules and coordinates preparation for examinations to be conducted with the patient and the Nurse on duty.
- Performs radiologic procedures such as MRI, CT scan, mammography, and ultrasound; inserts line with IV injection if contrast is needed.
- Ensures that preventive measures are undertaken to prevent assisting relatives of patients from being exposed to hazards of radiation.
- Assist the Radiologist/ Sonologist in performing interventional studies like abdominal, chest biopsies, paracenthesis and thoracenthesis.
- Processes exposed films, checks the radiograph, and submits outputs for the interpretation of the Radiologist.
- undertakes work activities in conformity with the institutional guidelines on safety and infection control.
- Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

- Completion of baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy having passed government licensure examination for the practice of the profession.

ELECTRICIANS
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Technologist is primarily responsible for undertaking electrical works including installation, repairs, and maintenance throughout the hospital.
The position holder shall undertake the following functions:
- Installs, repairs and maintains electrical circuits, motors, appliances, and other electrical fixtures.
- Undertakes periodic inspections of electrical wiring, panel boards, loads, motors, lighting fixtures as well as other electrical appliances and administrative equipment; Implements required actions whenever non-conformance with standards and specifications are noted.
- Prepares estimates of cost of materials and recommends those needed to be purchased for installation and repair of circuits, electrical lines, feeder lines, switches, breakers and other similar gadgets.
- Operates and maintains the hospital’s emergency power generating system together with its control panel and accessories.
- Ensures the security of the electrical system by taking required preventive and contingent actions related to emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, typhoons, and major blackouts.
- Maintains electrical tools and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Undertakes work activities in conformity with the institutional guidelines on safety and infection control.
- Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least two years of vocational education in related field. Having passed government licensure examination for the registered master electrician is a definite advantage.
